I have a different idea of custom and I think the master rifle builders are dying off. The guys who can build a rifle off a Mauser style action, I mean. They’re skilled machinists and they’re mostly old men. Not talking about putting together a sweet parts AR, which isn’t in the same ballpark, or assembling a nice Rem 700 clone: that’s more like accessorizing.
