I have always been fascinated with the P239. I honestly don't know why. The gun is heavier than most and only 8+1 round capacity. I have a 3913, 43 and a Shield. I am trying to decide if there is anything the P239 can do that the ones I have cant. To me capacity is a wash (2 more than the 43 & 3 more than the 3913 and Shield as I carry them). I like the idea of the hammer (I don't know why). I like the DA first shot (love revolvers) may make my first shot more intentional. I have never even held a P239. From what I can tell its almost the size of a 19 but single stack.

I am in the same boat as you. Have handled several in the gun shops, compared sisd by side with the G19, so yes to answer your question. People swear by them who have them. Just depends if you can get used to the 10 lb. DA pull on the first shot. I love my Sigs
