I've seen lots of videos on youtube of people taking down deer with modern ml pistols with scopes, and I think that looks like fun, but i have to think it over to myself before moving forward cause my mom very much hates hunting/guns and dad while he's fine with it all he doesn't like when she brings it on him also.

I shot a coon once with a 22 pistol. It went in at the nose and exited by the ear. He climbed down out of the tree and fought the dogs.
