so I get my one of my cleaning ladies set up to fish off the island in the pond . I remember I forgot my wine so head back to the house in the golf cart . I come back about 15 minutes later and she is walking up the road with this in her hand . I was bummed as it was full of eggs but she replied " sorry Bill but it was gut hooked and Bleeding and I wanted to get a picture " . I understand as she is only 8 .comparing it to a 10.4# I caught and mounted from Lanier about 10 yrs ago I'm guessing this one was 8+ EZ. The good news is I saw a half dozen more on Sunday as this pond is very healthy and fertile . My goal is to get a grass carp on the fly as saw them on Sunday as big as 4'.
