email/text/pm have to be the worst way to do anything. What is wrong with a 3 minute real phone call? Otherwise it is endless question after question then request to explain said answers, may take 24 hours between replies.

Any offer is better than no offer at all. No offer means your stuff is worthless, at least to that person.
