Dot Torture Drill

That is impressive shooting at 5 yards!
dot drill has brought my shooting up to a better par. would love to find the one for a carbine/ rifle if someone has the link send it plz
The carbine version that I use. If you’re using an AR, AK, or similar, it’s a great drill to get used to your sight offset at closer ranges.
- Dot 1 – Fire one string of 5 rounds for best group. One hole if possible, total 5 rounds.
- Dot 2 – Start at the low ready, raise and fire 1 shot. Reset and repeat x4, total 5 rounds.
- Dots 3 & 4 – Start at the low ready and fire 1 shot on #3, then 1 shot on #4. Reset and repeat x3, total 8 rounds.
- Dot 5 – 180 degree pivot to the right. Start at Inside Carry, back to the target. Turn 180 degrees to the right, and fire string of 5 rounds. Fired once, for a total of 5 rounds.
- Dots 6 & 7 – Start at Inside Carry, raise and fire 2 shots on #6, then 2 on #7. Raise and repeat x4, total 16 rounds.
- Dot 8 – 180 degree pivot to the left. Start at Inside Carry, back to the target. Turn 180 degrees to the left, and fire string of 5 rounds. Fired once, for a total of 5 rounds.
- Dots 9 & 10 – Set up for an Emergency Reload (round in the chamber, empty magazine inserted, mag with multiple rounds available for reload). High ready, raise and fire 1 shot on #9, emergency reload, fire 1 shot on #10. Reset and repeat x3, total 6 rounds
