we ate good, peenuts, Deer meat, Hog meat, and a whole lota fixens
everybody got Birds (most everyone got their limit) , the Birds never stopped flying, the surrounding fields must have kept them on the move, we heard plenty of shooting all day, plus we have a water hole
kids had fun
even sighted in a new Deer rifle that morning

Sounds like a great day was had by all!
This was the worst opening day we've ever had. Still have no idea why all our birds disappeared a week before season opened. We usually shoot 15-18 guns and rarely have a problem with ppl not limiting out.
Shot a small half acre plot of millet here on the farm Sunday morning as a back up plan and 4 of us managed to bring in 40.

Our season don't open till the 28th,,got hunt setup,,can't wait

Had a great day with my Son. Bird #’s weren’t what I hoped, but that doesn’t matter to me.
Saved myself the $ on ammo and embarrassment and didn't go this year.
