Here’s a few you may like.

Blood & Sand

Ingredients

3/4 oz | orange juice
3/4 oz | rosso vermouth
3/4 oz | Cherry Heering
3/4 oz | blended scotch

Directions

Build in mixing glass over ice
Shake
Strain into couple glass
Garnish with orange twist


Boulevardier

Ingredients
1 oz | rosso vermouth
1 oz | Campari
1 oz | bourbon


Directions
Build in mixing glass over ice
Stir
Strain into coupe glass / or over ice into old fashioned glass
Garnish with orange twist


(Also frequently served up in a coupe glass)


Whiskey Sour

Ingredients
¾ oz | Lemon juice
¾ oz | simple syrup
2 oz | bourbon

Directions
Build in mixing glass over ice
Shake, hard
Strain into coupe glass (or old fashioned glass)

Garnish with orange flag
 
These are EXCELLENT!

I prefer cocktails stirred not shaken and poured “up”

the ice melts and waters down the drink , shaking clouds the drink and adds ice chips.

I mean, the ice melts when you stir it too.

The general rule that we teach bartenders is: if it's got any kind of juice - shake. If it's all spirits/liqueurs - stir.
