I don't mind showing it. But I also know I'm not required to when dealing with an individual. Some folks are just like that. I do wanna make sure they're a ga resident but seeing their GA license plate is good enough for me.

The only times i have ever asked for a GA ID is when I see an out of state tag or a drive out/dealer tag. If they don't have a GA ID then it is a no go. in my gun ads I don't usually state I need to see ID or CCW, but if something is "off" then I'm gonna ask. All an agreed meeting time and place require is that you show up in good faith. It does not mean you HAVE to complete the sale.

I remember I did a deal with BIKER13 BIKER13 and it was at a home depot around 730 at night. He didnt ask but I flashed my GWL and all that. I remember very specifically he said, "Son I can't see s**t out here anyhow." Hahaha. But I believe it is a courtesy. I try to flash mine before items are in hand. For me, it says a little bit.
you had cred b4 you ever got there I gar on tee

Exactly what Ive been saying. Nothing is completely fool proof, but something is better than nothing at all.

I'm somewhat confused. What exactly have you been saying? "Should have known" instead of "knowingly"?

What the hell does a felon look like?
Tats on his arms = should have known he was a murderous felon out on parole?
Baggy pants = felon?
Black guy = felon/super predator?

What the hell does someone from out of state look like?
Plaid shorts, button up shirt, sunglasses, and a straw hat?
Camera around their neck?

What is something, that would be better than nothing at all? Corresponding on the ODT through PMs?
Sharing phone numbers, or maybe even home addresses in the event of a shipping transaction, but I already know your obscured opinion on shipping.

You act as if the members on here just go approach random people on da skreet or in dark alleyways, to see if they would like to purchase a firearm, no questions asked. SMH

Knowingly is the key. You cannot purposely not at least make an effort. Legal standard is “known or should have known” purposely ignoring what should be obvious will get you into trouble. To purposely ignore the obvious, would be "knowingly. SMH
I never said I was in favor of this, but it is reality. I’m just telling folks stuff that will help keep people out of trouble. Well you sure find fault and name call those that follow the law instead of agreeing with your overly paranoid plan of defense ramblings.

That’s ignorant.
In some circles this would be considered "Rude to another member", but there again, it's someone's opinion, not written Law

No, but you are to make a “reasonable effort”
A "reasonable effort", would be "Knowingly", NOT checking credentials or a background check. SMH

Least case you should ask and observe stuff like body language, license plates and stuff that makes you go Hummn.
Really?
What's this "body language" you speak of? Shifty eyes, running their hands through their hair, shifting their weight from one foot to the other?
I thought "things that make you go Hummn" would be having a different accent, different race, tats, straight bill cap, baggy pants, tinted windows, and stuff like that.

No law in my town that says I can’t cross the street anywhere I want in my town, but I sure wouldn’t do so with out protecting myself by looking both ways before I crossed.
Really? You might want to study a little more "LAW" before you go to preaching LAW.
It’s about protecting yourself, I know for a fact that there are LE trying to make buys online.
So the LE are bad people that we need to watch out for because they are out to get us and they don't wear condoms?
And what difference does that make? I've bought and sold to LE on this very site, and neither of us would be able to prove we made your "reasonable effort", but neither of us "KNOWINGLY" made an illegal firearm transaction.
Don’t be willingly ignorant. Really? Pot meet Kettle.

There are principles in law, such as, reasonable, and know or SHOULD HAVE KNOWN.

KNOWINGLY not REASONABLY or SHOULD HAVE KNOWN, it's the written law, so we don't have to rely on "your" misguided principles and interpretation.
When you pointedly do not even attempt to find out if it’s legal transaction, it’s not considered reasonable and possibly could result in civil or criminal prosecution.
This is nothing more than "your" ignorant paranoid opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.
How do you pointedly attempt to investigate a private citizen?
Some folks, especially the ignorant overly paranoid, need to do all their transactions through an FFL.

When I pull into a dark alleyway selling handguns out the window my car for $100.00 each to the first person to rush my car with cash in hand, should I be axing for sum ID? Would that be a "reasonable effort"?
It's not like the people involved in the transactions on the ODT haven't corresponded on the ODT through PMs and traded phone numbers. SMH

This is real life we are talking, not what anyone or I wish it to be.
LOL Now that's funny. How do you know what anyone else wishes it to be? Oh that's right, whatever you say goes.
Of the constitution was adhered to this would be a non issue, just as it would if people took responsibility for their actions and paid attention to who they trade with, instead of satisfying their greed. by slipping into a dark alleyway and selling handguns out the window of their ride for $100.00 each and of course checking their DL for GA residency. LOL

You obviously don’t care to debate and only want to argue. Like I’ve said, do as you please.
LOL now that's funny right there.
I thought debates were based on facts, not feelings, well unless you are a member of the Left, then it's all about the feelings.
Facts = Knowingly
Feelings = Reasonable effort, should have known, due diligence.

When you relinquish your rights for an illusion of safety, you deserve neither.

The easiest way to win a fact-less debate, is to silence your opponent. LOL
