I will be driving through the following states, Georgia Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Missouri, Kansas Colorado Wyoming and Idaho. What’s the definitive best source to see where my carry permit is acceptable and where I can’t and can carry while traveling?

I presume you will be crossing into Illinois at Paducah, KY on I-24. Fill your gas tank in Paducah. Eats are at Exit 3, gas at exit 2. Don't crowd the speed limit in Illinois. It's a beautiful drive up through southern Illinois.

I have driven the GA to IL part of this trip at least annually for over 30 years. No problems. Your questionable firearms states are IL and CO.

Try not to buy gas in IL, they doubled the gas tax on 7-1-2019. MO has cheap gas.

I think you left out TN, hard to get to KY directly from GA.

How is this possible, I-55 is not accessible from Paducah??

You don't mean I-24 to I-57 to Cairo, IL and cross to MO?? That is WAY out of the way.

I'll assume you looked here for the basic reciprocity check: https://www.usacarry.com/concealed_carry_permit_reciprocity_maps.html

CO is not an issue, just stay out of Denver City proper (transport through Denver is AOK, carry has some mag regs.)

AFAIK, our mag laws apply only to residents. State has UBC's.
