Duck Hunting on a Deer Camp?

I have been looking for a place to duck hunt around Georgia that isnt as pressured/shotout as the public land. I have heard that some deer camps will let duck hunters use their ponds/swamp after deer season is over for late duck. Anyone ever hear of this? I am a broke-ish recent grad so if I could get on someones deer land after deer season for cheap and get some ducks, it would be awesome.

Is this such a common thing that there is a price premium? I thought it might just be disused for a month or so right after season

The club I was in they charged for the whole year and you only got that season

I'll just stick to the public swamps if nothing else turns up. but id rather not deal with all the yahoos out on public land

We have a big open area in the swamp on our land that's filled with waterfowl. Mostly wood ducks. And trust me on this -- there is NO shortage of people wanting to hunt it. Whatever you find won't be cheap!!! Good luck.

Understood. I have also heard of golf courses and such letting people hunt geese of of them. To me this sounds ridiculous because I cant imagine that the neighbors would like it. Anyone done or heard of this?

I've heard about this and investigated it. No joy.
