Dumb question about Loctite

Apparently they are a couple of variations of Loctite. All are labeled Super Glue. When using this on grip screws should I use the blue colored or another version?

probably shouldnt use any but blue is the weaker of the bonds

red is like, extra permanent

Blue or red. Red is just harder to unscrew. Red doesn’t mean permanent. Even though it claims it. YouTube it an you’ll see what I mean.

on the screws,been using it on screws for years.

Before using Loctite, try fingernail polish. It may do the trick and it's lots cheaper. Get it at the dollar store.

Thanks for the info. I've used Loctite many times but when I went to purchase more the other day I found a number of variations. My Colt Commander grips tend to loosen after 50 rounds or so.
