I only have four does that frequent my area and two of them are yearlings. My most mature bucks have left to find a more target rich environment. There are a crap ton of young bucks and a couple of "Give them one more year bucks" that are still around, but the big boys are just gone.

I'm actually hoping for the rut to end soon.
 
Rut was in full swing at our place in Warren county around the first of the month, the 9 I shot came in shortly after I sprayed my doe estrus when a mature doe came in, he came in on a mission to find the smelly girl. She spooked off when he came in grunting. I had never seen him on camera, and I had a few cameras up around the area. I whole heartily agree they go searching for them. Property lines dont mean a thing to them.
