I'm brand spankin' new to crossbows. I picked one up this season wanting to get a little experience in before next deer season. In doing so, I purchased a brand new Barnett Jackel crossbow from a dealer on Ebay. Yeah, I know maybe not the smartest thing, but I got a great deal (I thought). I shot it exactly 7 times trying to dial it in and the E-clip came off the bottom of the right cam on the last shot. I didn't shoot it anymore after that to make sure I had it fixed first. After I put one back on, will this be a safety issue? Could the cam be out of timing? Should i take it to a xbow tech first?

After taking a better look at it later, I realized I "snowflaked" a little. The clip seems a little lose and should be easily replaced. I hit the manufacture up (Barnett) and they are sending out two E-clips for free. (Great customer service). So I'm pretty happy. Snowflake out...
