A guy opens a tin of WW2 era (Nov. 1942) G.I. rations, and eats some of it.
Makes the instant coffee w/sugar, eats a biscuit.
The "meat" or "m-ration" that would've accompanied this neal had lobg since gone bad; they don't last 75 years like the candy and bread products did.

In 2000, a civilian contractor that I was deploying with to Kuwait, was a Vietnam Veteran, he had a 1967 Long Range Army Patrol (LARP) C-Rations, in my office me and my best friend Lewis eat the RATIONS, it was fresh and we did not get sick.

I love the video and his culinary sensations but I'll tell you, we just ate the S*** out of them in my two wars and then transitioned to MREs. nom nom..
