Are these Chanterelles or no? I don't eat mushrooms ,but that it what they look like to me.

Morell mushrooms this is what you looking for.

Those don’t look like chanterelles to me. We always pick them when we see them, but the color seems a little light. Check the underside, if there are gills they are not chanterelles.

Roger that. I googled Chanterelles and came across so many different pictures

Yeah, I would look for a darker yellow-orange. They don’t tend to grow in big clumps like that and won’t grow on roots, trees, or downed wood. I could be wrong, but I’ve never got sick eating the ones I have picked...

Iv got more mushrooms than I can eat right now. This muggy humid weather have made my shiitakes start growing.
You can still have some bbq though.
