Electrical question - new house - GFCI everywhere

if i'm not mistaken, there shouldn't be but 1 gfci per a circuit
So a GFCI can be wired to protect all down circuit outlets, but between the weird ****ing wiring I've seen in houses / the time or for most people, the cost of finding the first outlet in a circuit is usually gonna cost you more than throwing in gfci's everywhere code requires lest you fail something on a home inspection.

I just remodeled and sold a house and I have no idea what the **** was going on with the wiring in the kitchen, the original wiring was a ****ing rat nest, then some "jerkoff guy" (aka handyman) came and ****ed around with it more.

Ended up being easier to just throw a GFCI in every countertop kitchen plug.

Funniest thing about the whole remodel was the only time anything electrical got ****ed, was when I hired an electrician to fix a wiring issue in the garage (garage door was plugged into a lightbulb that was on a switch?) and in doing so they broke the ground to the laundry room duplex which the home inspector actually tested.
