its an amazing meat. i can eat,but i am full and have about 2 bites left....its in the fridge,may be breakfast in the morning...
a buddy gave me two sleeves of ground elk, now i want a elk steak... if you ever get a chance,try it. no gamey taste,not beefy tasting,just a darn good meat flavor....

my Dad is getting up in years,i am gonna try to go elk hunting with him soon. probably go to Goodman ranch in TN. am elk is 6k and a bison is 4k. thats a lot of money,but it would be a priceless memory.
