Man I'd LOVE to, but for an ever growing list of reasons, its not happeningg this year.

What kind of condition do you need to be in to do this hunt? I'm in pretty good shape, but that's for a 60 year old, so...

Also, it sounds like the bow tag is a sure thing if not drawn for rifle. Is that correct?

Yes. Bow tags are over the counter.

As far as condition, that depends on the snow. No snow means hiking....a lot. If there is snow in the back country, it pushes the elk down low making it fairly easy

Both depending on where and what we are hunting for. I have done both. Working as a team is more successful.
