End of SCAR MK17 ??

Interesting news found on another board.

"As of a few weeks ago the SCAR MK17 is officially dead in SOCOM.

Funding has been pulled and parts will be cannibalized to keep the current crop running.
Once there's no more spare parts the SCAR will be finished."

I personally would hope this drops the price of the 17/16. Although, KAC lost the M110 contract to HK and have since had a price INCREASE!
