Enfield No.4, Mk.2 New In Wrap

My local gun shop has an Enfield No.4, Mk.2, new in wrap on the shelf. I did a little research and found that these rifles originally sold for about $200. A few years ago, some sold in the $500 range. This one has a $1199.00 price tag. That seems high, even with their appreciation. What would you say it is worth and what would you pay?

Went by the gun shop today and the Enfield had sold for the listed price. I guess $1200 is the going price for a new-in-wrap rifle.

Yikes 500 is top of the Mark for me on one. Hard to believe they found a sucker to pay $1200.00 for it.
