Sorry dude, you could fill a thimble with what I know about Enfields...

They fire .303, right? Wait, some fire .308 but have another name?

The jungle carbines are often counterfeit.

And they made a bajillions of 'em and they were used all over the world at one time or another and all have been re-arsenaled at least 12 times...

The ones with wire wrapped around the hand guards were made to fire grenades...I'm still trying to figure out why a bolt gun with no gas system needs that type reinforcement but I've never been accused of being the sharpest knife in the drawer...

And I'm out...

Refinish no..bedding light sand and lots of love with BLO. YES:becky: and for that answer that's boiled linseed oil!! See again Curios and relics.
