Had a custom ‘64 coupe with 365 horse 327, 4-speed and posi. It also had the Hooker side pipes (in black). And yes it sounded and ran great. This was in the late 70’s. Bought it for $3000, sold it for $3500. One of several fast cars and bikes I went through as a young man.I thought it was going to be lektrik.
Sound is for young kids. lol
I had a 72 LT1 (in 76) & traded it for a 72 Mako Shark Custom with Chrome Hooker 4 in 1 side pipes because of the sound... I should have kept the LT1
