Any suggestions for a decent 3D printer?
Not looking to do anything too intricate just want to see if it's something I can get into and maybe print some custom chess pieces or something.
...for now...

Ender 3 pro V2…there is the regular one that’s a tad bit cheaper but the upgrades that come with the V2 are in my opinion actually worth it ie silent board….and be warned it’s extremely addictive Lolol and half of what your looking to make is already made and just has to be downloaded and printed vs designed so it’s super easy now too

Second vote for Ender. Kids got one last Christmas and have enjoyed it. Making school projects on it, etc.

I printed some scope covers...

Only had one issue so far. The clamp that provides spring tension for the knurled feed mechanism broke - meaning it wouldn't feed consistently. Installed the upgraded aluminum one and it's back like brand new.

Sorry, only one data point for your question. Hopefully some hobbyists will be by to offer a better perspective.
