My Colt AR-15 was around $500, I don't remember the exact price. I had to put a rear sight on it though.

A friend of mine wants to get her an entry level AR-15.Gun will do a lot of sitting in a closet,what would you suggest? And no she aint spending 2 grand on one at all.
