Same size and weight as Vudu 1-6. Second Focal Plane, capped turrets, daylight bright 1/2 MOA center dot. Delivery Q1 2020.

I wonder why in the world they would go sfp on an 8x optic
By request. Daniel Horner used this optic to win the 3 Gun championship a couple years back when he was with AMU. It was all blacked out so no one knew what it was. My guess is he wanted the better eyebox of SFP for the 1x performance and was willing to be okay with having to go all the way to 8x for the holds. Just a guess though.

That makes some sense. They may have a hard time if they don't offer in both. They're evvectively turning it into a $1600 1 or 8 scope with 6 levels of observation magnification levels

Completely understood. In a perfect world would have liked to have seen the 1-6 be SFP and the 1-8 to be FFP. The 1x performance of the 1-6 is already very good for FFP so I think it would have been just fine. For my use case though I would choose the 1-8 given the choice. I liked the reticle layout, the small daylight bright center dot and the capped turrets.
