My daughter-in-law’s mother lives in Brewster, NY about an hour north of NYC, she can’t even leave the state to visit her daughter. If she does she’ll face a $10,000 fine when she returns. That’s one reason there’s so many cars here from NY, many can’t afford to go back and the rest have left the state for good.
