And you never know what "Media Source" could have sent him in there on a mission. I would me more likely to believe that it was either A) A drive by media attempt to get an undercover video of a legit gun shop selling a rifle to an obvious nutcase. Or B) It was a 20 something idiot who has spent most of his life in his parents basement playing Grand Theft Auto and all the first person shooter games. And he probably asked about high cap "clips".

I was refused by Clyde Armory. While filling out the form the guy asked if I was a student and if I was living in Athens.

I said yes I'm a student and yes I live temporarily in Athens, thinking it was just casual conversation.

Then he grabs the 4473 and crumples it up saying that my drivers license needed to match where I laid my head down that night. My dl and cwp both have my home in Gainesville since school apartments were temporary and instill received mail in Gainesville. I tried to explain that residency was a bit more intricate than where you happen to sleep that night, but he wasn't hearing it.

Yeah I got denied in Macon at Academy Sports on Black Friday one year. Was renting a room till I could find a better place and didnt bother to update my license till I found a better place. Had actually just moved to my apartment a couple of days before and hadnt had off time to get my address changed. Walked in and found 2 fantastic deals and same scenario as you lax.......casual conversation led to me not getting my guns. I was pissed but after working at bass pro and denying people I couldnt say anything since I knew the rules.

Ga gun store just had someone in not long ago trying to get away with a straw purchase. Mike saw through this couples BS and called them on it. They had the post and video on Facebook the other day.

I was at Bullseye in Lawrenceville a few years ago, these guys come in, looking a little shady. The guy behind the counter refuses to sell one of them a Mossberg 500. Apparently the guy he came in with did not pass the background check earlier trying to buy the same gun. The counterman yelled at them, and stated very loudly that he would not sell that gun to anyone that day due to the circumstances. I know those guys get a bad rap sometimes, but they have always been friendly to me, and they have far better prices for new, than most sell on here with moderate holster wear...

Last time I checked a buisness has the right to refuse service, or a sale, to anyone they please. No one's 2nd was stepped one, but rather a buisnessman made a choice to listen to his common since and continence over the cry of the all mighty dollar.
