ever been in a gun store and have a salesman refuse to sell a gun to an individual?

It sounds like some of these gun store employees don't really know what a straw purchase is. It's not a straw purchase for someone to buy a gun, complete the paperwork and then turn around and hand it to their buddy/husband/wife and say, "Here ya go!" as long as their buddy/husband/wife would be legally allowed to buy the gun on their own.

A straw purchaser is a person with a clean background who purchases firearms specifically on behalf of a person prohibited from purchasing a firearm because he or she is a convicted felon, domestic violence misdemeanants, juvenile, mentally ill individual or other federally or state-defined prohibited person.

Was in a local gun store. 3 young thugs come in red-eyed smelled like they were in a pot field. Guys behind the counter ignored them. So one pulls out a wad of dope money and wants to look at,, "Dat der fi-selvin". Guy told him We cant help you. Sorry. They left.

No, a straw purchase is buying a firearm on someone's behalf.
AFT - It is a serious crime to buy a firearm for a prohibited person or for someone who does not otherwise want his or her name associated with the transaction.
It is not just buying a gun for a felon. It is buying a firearm, not as a gift but because someone asked you too.

I was in a gun store where a kid (20-23 year old) was walking around looking @ ak's and ar's and he stunk like weed so bad the entire store wreaked. he picked up a ak and took it to the counter and told the guy he wanted it and filled out the background check.after he finished filling it out the guy behind the counter said to the kid I see you checked no where it ask if you have ever used illegal drugs and the kid just stood there and sead yeah so? The guy behind the counter replied dude you smell like weed so bad the whole shop stinks this is a federal form and its a felony to lie when you fill it out if you don't walk out the door in 10 seconds I'm calling the cops.so he quietly and quickly left.

He might be on ODT looking for one right now. Scary!

I have walked away from 2 deals on here. If you give me a bad feeling, say the wrong things or if I feel you you just look like a tool. Ill tell you no to your face. You can't leave me bad feedback either as I held up to my end of the bargan by showing up to the meet.

I was in Forsyth county pawn a few weeks ago and a guy came in asking about AR-15'S and kept repeating "this would be a great rifle to take out a bunch of people" said it at least 4 times I think the guy wanted to sound badass or something. Not really sure but when he said he would take it the guy behind the counter said me nor anyone else in here is ever going to sell you a firearm.

I personally thought the guy was weird and am glad they didn't make the deal.

So have you ever been in one when this happend?

This is what I would have followed those 4 statements with.
