Eviction by significant other

Been together 18 years,living in same house,have joint accounts, trying to tell me I have to leave by midnight. Can she legally do this?

no. has to have eviction formally served through the courts - then you have 30 days. You've established residency

I say no. Make her call the cops. Definitely video it and post it here. So you have witnesses.

Legally I don't think so. But if the fighting escalates and the cops are called, they will make one of you leave, most likely you since you're the male.

they wont and legally can't make anyone leave if they both live there. but living together does constitute a relationship of "family violence." If the cops can identify the "primary aggressor" - that person goes to jail...effectively making someone leave, haha.
