The 3 guys who shot Amaud "Quez" Arbery ran their mouths after the shooting and said racist things (not necessarily said to cops in a formal interview, but nonetheless got published and made known to prosecutors).
It changed what could have been a "voluntary manslaughter" case into the first-degree murder case (with two convictions- one in the State legal system and a federal hate crimes conviction on top of that!!!)

The armed attorneys had a client who buried the gun after what they said was a perfectly justified self-defense shooting???
People after that much stress and most people never have been though something like this your brain does some weird stuff.
