No 02 sensors on secondary Cats so no check engine light.
The Kennesaw location wouldnt so im sure the others are the same. No go on that

The idea is i dont want m secondary cats and want some mufflers. I looked, but didnt see em.

If the county you are in, or the shop is in, is an Emissions County, by law the shop is not allowed to remove any cat without replacing it with another one- even if the owner asks to have it done. If the EPA finds out, they will be fined.
Some shops I have worked with in Gwinnett suggest that you come in w/o the cats on the vehicle in order for them to weld straight pipes on.

Just get on amazo.com and search for “catalytic convertors Mercedes Benz cls500”
A bunch of choices will come up
Pick one.
Then at the top you will see a window to put in your make and model to check the fit.
Then you will see a button for “see all parts that fit this model”
Click on it, then on the cat subdirectory.
Then amazon will put up all the cats that fit your vehicle.
Prolly want to buy some new gaskets and nuts also the cat purchase might not include all the little pieces
Take your time. Read the reviews. Prolly ought to get the bolt on style that breaks in the middle to make a little easier.

You can borrow my socket sets and saw.
I wouldn’t try to modify your system it will have unintended consequences.
If you can build an AR15 you can swap out cats easy.
Wear eye protection.
Soak the nuts with wd40 overnight.
Use six point sockets not 12 point sockets. Or you’ll round a nut.l st the exhaust manifold. Like I did. Which doubled my time.
Amazon is gonna put some auto parts stores out of business, in my estimation.

Yah no issues for placed to delete the resonator. I wanna keep mine though.
