Well I hope the title has caught your attention now.....ADULT subject coming up please keep this mature and SERIOUS.
So for 2 years now at 36 years of age I have seen more days than if like of this weird event.
Typically im always sleeping just as peaceful when I feel pain in my back and sides along with stomach cramps.
Finally I am awoken to get to the bathroom still in much pain with feeling im about to explode with diarrhea. Yet once I sit down on the toilet in pain I can't get anything to come out but in so much Pain by now I've soaked my shirt and hair in Sweat.
I feel so light headed and doubled over holding my stomach now in sweat I feel as if I am going to PASSOUT COLD I then start to squeeze my gut to feel and hear gargling of GAS to then be followed by MASSAVE diarrhea attack and my flushing of pale skin and face but will major relief but leaving me feeling wiped out completely barley able to stand.

I ask the forum if any of you have had anything like this before and if it could be IBS, Diverticulitis or something other ??
I was told by a walk in clinic on trip the first time it happenen 2 years ago it seem like developing Diverticulitis but the issue is my mother, Brother have this and don't go through all that I do.
Whats the opinions and thoughts ???

Seriously get to a doc.

When I was a kid, I had a horrible lower gi tract infection that was never diagnosed . I spent over a week in the hospital and was seriously ill for some time. All of the tests and all the docs could never determine exactly what was the cause of my infection. It left me with recurring problems similar to what you described above.

Controlling my diet has been the key to control. I Eliminated all caffeine, reduce processed foods especially refined carbs like white bread, pasta, crackers and sugary baked goods. Reduce use of milk products. Eat lots of lean protein and fruits and vegetables and lots of fiber. I eat a lot of fish now too. Take a fiber supplement and a real good probiotic. This is not a magic pill. The increased fiber will cause you more initial discomfort, but you’ll get used to it. After a few weeks to months and you will see a diet like this will show big improvements in your health.

You can also try eliminating all alcohol, caffeine, all dairy and all processed foods and eat a super clean diet for a month until your symptoms go away. Then once you all of your symptoms are under control you can experiment by adding some of these foods back to your diet one by one to see if you can handle them or not.

bottom line for me- clean eating, lots of fiber and probiotics have been a real blessing. I like a juice called “good belly” you can buy at Kroger or Publix. It seems to really help. If you can tolerate dairy you can try Kefir as well for a natural probiotic source.

Do your own research and see a doc. Some medicines can provide faster short term relief also. But clean eating is the best long term solution.

If you haven't had pain so bad you've thought of offing yourself, it's not chronic diverticulitis. I used to have to go to the hospital and receive morphine. The symptoms you are describing do not seem like diverticulitis.

I'd see a good G.I. specialist if I were you. It may be serious.

And....since you mentioned it.....The only time I had to "walk punishment tours" in military school was because I couldn't stop laughing and Robert Baker's face contorting when Dr. Powell (female professor) was describing explosive diarrhea in a biology class. She wrote me a burn slip and I got 5 hours punishment.

Go to the Dr., ya don't come to the ODT for a tooth ache so don't get medical advice either.

Do you suffer from migraines? If you do its possible that the system is effected by it. I used to suffer from migraines and terrible ones at that, and I couldn't function and my whole body system would slow down or not work at all.
Secondly, there is a good chance if your drinking milk that your lactose intolerant and that could be causing your issues.
Likewise you might try cleaning out your system with a laxative or the stuff you have to drink before having a rectal examination.
By all means consult a doctor, but these are but a few of the things which could be causing you your discomfort. Perhaps even a combination of them.
May God lead you into wise decisions.
