Unless you're in and out 10 times a day once a year should be sufficient.... honestly the batteries should last years. (it's just preventative maintenance)
 
That's good to know. Got another question. Is it OK to have a safe in the garage?

Personally, I like having my safe in the garage (alarmed) all though now because I keep my trailer there.... I do not.

I've had the same batteries in mine for probably two years or more.

You access the batteries on the outside of the safe so no worries about being locked out if they die with the safe closed.


As does 90% of the quality digital locks out there.... issue is if the battery leaks there's a huge shot that that keypad will malfunction.
