Favorite 22 can??

If you don't want your first round to sound like an unsuppressed shot, which is very likely on the mk II, you want to stick with the big names, i.e. Dead air, AAC, Silencerco, Rugged, TBAC, Q, Sig, etc. If you want to drop your baffles in a tumbler or ultrasonic cleaner and not hand scrub each baffle, stick with SS baffles. Not sure if it's really been an issue, but putting a can with aluminum threads on a SS barrel could cause galvanic corrosion. Just something to be aware of if you pick an aluminum can.

Really comes down to what you care about most. Weight vs easy cleaning vs FRP vs full auto vs multi caliber. I would not let cost enter into the decision, unless it's to break a tie. Some cans are also going to suppress better on a pistol vs rifle and vice versa.

I just picked up a Mask as my second 22 can. My search came down to the TBAC takedown, element 2 and mask. All 3 with little to no FRP. I chose the heavier mask over the element 2, because of the shielded baffles. And the mask over the takedown because I like Dead Air. It was really a tie, one was a .5" longer and the other a .5 ounce heavier.

I got a SilencerCo Sparrow. Its Monocore so it has some FRP but its short, quiet, user serviceable and has a good clamshell design. Stainless steel too.

Well technically its a 24 glass but it works great for suppressing bad memories!!
