I've personally have used and have loaded for other just about ever brand name of standard hunting bullets there are and found no real advantage of one over the other at the ranges and calibers I shoot them in. I still load a few rds for a buddy or two for hunting season but I started casting all my own bullets and switch over to cast lead bullets in rifles and hanguns years ago and found they kill just as well as long as you put it through the vitals.

Load my own, I had great success with Nosler Ballastic Silvertips and Barnes Triple shock, if you can find them.

I load Nosler ballistic tip 165gr for my .308. They always fall in their tracks. Never had one run.
