Mine's a bit larger....maybe I need a smaller one....I got it sharpened this summer....had to "pickle" the edge

Love it dude! That looks awesome! I have the larger one also, it probably would have made more sense to use it but sometimes I like to change things up just because!
Both of these are carbon steel but the little one doesn't look like it...I did a forced patina on the larger one...I wish I didn't because I wound up trying to clean it all off, I didn't like it. So something weird, I have a magnetic knife block--once I forced the patina on the larger one, it sticks way way harder to the magnet. Not sure why that is!
