Favorite time to sit in the stand versus when you shoot your best deer ?

I like to hunt evenings but I shoot my best deer mornings during the rut.

Used to love evening more but that’s when I couldn’t hunt morning. I taken good ones at both times but do like mornings best

Love to watch the sun come up while sitting in a stand…. Especially on those mornings when it was just cold enough to see your breath . It makes you feel close to God and earth.

Biggest deer I've harvested have mostly been in the afternoon/evening. But I've seen bigger deer in the mornings the past couple seasons and I prefer hunting mornings.

Most of the big deer I’ve shot have been in the mornings. I enjoy watching the sun come up and the woods come to life.

Don’t matter to me as long as I’m in the woods.
Taken nice bucks in the morning and evening and mid day.

I love watching the very first light come out and the temperature differential kick in which usually drops the temp by 20deg sometimes.
But I also love when it starts to get dark and the crickets come out and night creatures start to rustle.
Something about practicing my pack out system in the dark after last light is fun.
I try to beat my best time and also try to make zero metal to metal noise while doing it.
It’s just a fun challenge I put myself through.
Same as setting up for the climb.

Morning because if I have to track it down I prefer good light and all day if necessary

Best two bucks for me were early moring. I like to watch the sun rise and hear the woods come alive for the day.
