So now the Feds are trying to force Apple to create a backdoor to an IPhone recovered from the San Bernardino terrorist massacre site.
They claim that it would only be used once. just to open that one..... HAHAHA! Right!
When have the Feds EVER used anything whether it be funding or technology for what it was intended? And I guess the larger question is or at least should be.... have the Feds EVER intentionally or unintentionally allowed classified information to be leaked out of the system? (obviously not limited to just Hillary's illegal actions).
At best we could only assume that they would cover up any such leak that would beyond any reasonable doubt happen.
In any event, if the higher "liberal" courts can, they will try to force Apple. It's definitely time to bring ALL to the table on this one. All Representatives, Senators and Congressmen. Because if allowed, the Feds will open Pandora's box against or personal security on a level never seen before!

Here is an excerpt from the " Apple Customer letter" (you can read the whole thing by clicking the link at end. Thanks for taking time to read this. please be active and GET INVOLVED!)

"The government is asking Apple to hack our own users and undermine decades of security advancements that protect our customers — including tens of millions of American citizens — from sophisticated hackers and cybercriminals. The same engineers who built strong encryption into the iPhone to protect our users would, ironically, be ordered to weaken those protections and make our users less safe."

It really is an upside down world.

Almost all of the talking heads on Faux News are screaming at Apple to open the phone "in the name of security " when they claim to be defenders of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This is right up there with no-knock warrants and traffic "checkpoints ".

All "in the name of security ".

I definitely agree. keep this in mind too.
Even though you may not use an IPhone. This definitely effects EVERYBODY. Please keep in mind that once a Court Precedence is set. It is extremely hard to reverse. Meaning that once they (the Feds) have secured a program to backdoor the iPhone, they can AND WILL do the same to the remaining operating systems. Don't let yourself be fooled into thinking anything different. And if it ever falls into the hands of someone who's one purpose is the wreak havoc. We are all screwed. Be smart about this!

I find it hard to believe that the Feds don't have the capability to get into the phone themselves. Certainly seems to be a ploy to create an "easy" opening for them to backdoor everyone when they feel there is a threat.
You would think that they could. but here is the major catch. It is all about encryption. And with todays technology, if you don't have the actual encryption codes, no way to get in.
As of now, only Apple has these "key" codes. And thank God, they are refusing to give them up.
And... about being a "threat". Anyone, anywhere, anytime could be labeled a "threat". "Threat" is a very broad arena.

Another case of, it sure would be nice if we could trust our government!
They've brought this on themselves, by betraying our trust in the past.

Once the tool to do this is created, it can not be un-created.
Kind of like a nuke, we would un-create them all if we could, it's just not possible.

Damn shame you can't trust these good guys to do the right thing EVERY time.

For now I'm with Apple......

One of the GOP candidates last night said "yes, they should unlock it. Apple should get together with some trusted government officials and make it happen, but it might have to wait until the next election to find them" or something like that.

Even they don't trust each other, but want us to believe "them". This is sickening.
