Fidelity vs checking account

I have been using Fidelity as a part of my retirement account system for several years. Works well and meets my needs.

I use Interactive Brokers... All my funds are working all the time...

As I need funds locally, I just go online and request funds to go into my CU account... Pay bills (online) from there.
Don't leave enough in the CU to worry about the interest rates
