I'm looking for some financial software.
I want it to keep track of bill payments, loans, balances and where the money if going, purchase wise so I can plan budgets.
I've looked at Quicken and I'm partial to it.
I'm not a big fan of phone apps.

Thoughts?

YNAB: You Need a Budget.

We switched from Quicken to Quickbooks to some other program to YNAB, but mostly because we and our church use Macs.

YNAB ports / links easily from desktop to iPad to phone, etc etc. It is on-line, but we don't enter any account info, so we aren't using the auto-sync functions with the banks, etc.

It's really really easy to enter data / spending, etc.

Mint works for me. I think all of the features you are asking for are available. I have my accounts linked and everything updates. I do have to categorize a few transactions but it’s super simple. Also easy to upload come tax time. Oh yeah and it’s free
