Firearm discharges restrictions fail in Spalding county

The Spalding County Board of Commissioners voted 4 to1 not to approve a proposed ordinance regulating the discharge of firearms in the county. Many people turned out for the meeting. And commissioners stated they had received thousands of emails and phone calls from residents oposed to the restrictions.
A win for gun rights.

Had to be zoned ar1, could not discharge with in 150 feet of a property line or another home and not less than one acre. So if you had 20 acres and were zoned r1 you were out of luck. If you had 1/2 acre lot surround by 500 arces of forest no shooting. Just a bunch of bs that got voted down. Resident turn out and contact made the difference.
