Idk if should cerakote it or have it coated in nickel boron

If you like the look of Nickel Boron and money and time is no concern you should definitely go with nickel boron. If you don't want to spend more than the guns worth and want it back sometime this year go with Cerakote.

Nickel Boron or Electoless Nickel is a much more durable finish in my opinion. Cerakote is nothing more than paint which will chip and wear pretty quick if you use and carry pack
your firearm all of the time. I guess I'm just and old school guy who has learned through experience that a chemical or electrically applied finish has worked much better for me throughout
my 58 years.

I've had good service & turn around with Accurate Plating & Weaponry across the line in Newville, Alabama. They ported one for me and hard chromed a couple of slides & barrels. They do light engraving and I think laser etching now.
