I love it when a smaller buck keeps looking back over his shoulder when he steps out.
I learned the hard way to just wait for the big boy to step out.
The big boy is back there saying to himself…..”Quit giving me away derp.”..lol.
As hunting goes I may use restraint and wait for the big boy to step out but in many cases he’s just using the younger one for bait and slinks away with just a glimpse of an ear flicker in the shadows and by that time the younger buck I could have shot has already walked away and I’m trying to justify in my head why tomorrow is another day.
