Fishing Lake Allatoona

Hey all! I recently moved over to the Dallas/Acworth area. I don't have a boat ... yet. Any good bank spots other than the busy 92 spots? What are you catching? What kind of bait/lures work well? Any secret spots?

Also, who do we write to get permission to CC on lake property.

And....what's up with the 1,000's of beavers... holy crap, they're everywhere on the lake.

Ite corps property guns are no go's there except for goose hunting and duck hunting on the lake.
Even on the hunting permit it has no guns except for one area for squirrel hunting.

I've seen several posts on here where CC holders wrote the base commander or something like that to get written permission. I can't find any of them.
