Fishing spot @ lake Oconee (need one)

Just landed a camper spot for six months At Lake Oconee on the Putnam County side.Never been on this lake, so share a few spots men! Thanks

What are you fishing for? You'll catch a good bit of catfish over by 44. If you've got a boat check out the area near blue springs marina, between there and the I-20 Bridge.

Watch for stumps, they'll pop up out of nowhere on that lake...

Look On a map and figure out how to go underneath i-20 to the creek inlet/old train trestle

I’ve only been over there on jet skis

But there’s lots of floating dead heads so be careful

Caught a ton of big fish 2014-16 there and not ever seen anybody else in there

Sugar Creek area can be good trolling this time of year. Look for the drop offs on the creek channels. Have found them stacked up there.

Edit: Under the deeper bridges can be good too night or day.
