saw a show yesterday that showed people looking to buy a home on the beach. They showed a place in Florida called alligator point. It's on the Gulf below where we usually go. Has anyone been there? What's it like? Places to eat?

I have been there. I like it, but the beach there sucks. Angelo's is a good restaurant in the area. There are many better places to go. Go to Cape San Blas or St Georges Island or even to Mexico Beach.

The location is good. Alligator Point is in driving distance of Shark Cove, Moccasin Creek, and Rattlesnake Flats. All good places to vacation.

When I went a few years back it was like most country beaches used to be. Not much activities or business you see most places these days. Quiet, simple. There were dolphins swimming with us every day we were there.
