Meh, I'm not seeing much issue, other than society being triggered by anything that resembles a weapon, it was fake and in checked baggage. Back before Sandy Hook, I had to fly back from a meeting with a large suitcase full of paintball guns, that could easily be mistaken for the real deal (have you seen paintball guns lately?). Just walked up to the counter opened it up and said they were paintball guns, they had no issue. It's sad how sensitive our society is now.
