Its official I've moved to Sarasota....Educate me on the weapons laws(Point me ) Is there somewhere (Forum) for Floridians like ODT? I'm missing my GA trading/selling. As a matter of fact I'm looking to liquidate some of my collection to fund some home projects. I don't want to deal with pawn shops. It would be nice to make some new friends and deals in FL.

Don't know much about Florida gun laws. One Thing I do remember reading
is there is no open carry. A couple stories I remember reading about concealed
carrying and allowing the weapon to flash can cause you to be arrested and lose
your permit. Has been several years ago when I read this. May be different now.

There is no viable forum like ODT here and I certainly miss that. Floridaguntrader.com is an option but as stated there is no feedback system and honestly there are too many sketchy people down here to trust it. The best option is to start networking and training with locals and establish relationships.
Not much to add on gun laws. No open carry (which I personally wouldn’t do anyway).

Sarasota is like the buckhead of Florida, or it was 10 yrs ago when I went to Bradenton for training a few times a year..

IIRC, the printing prohibition is no longer the law. It used to be, but I think that was changed 2-3 years ago. We usually vacation in FL and I used to attempt to bone up on their latest laws before heading that way.
