I don't live there but came across this link plus read of a January 25th 1 PM meeting at the Rome American Legion Post on this matter with a congressional or senate (can't recall) candidate present to speak. Saw that on Facebook.

Floyd County is about as carry friendly as can be. I get the sentiment, but I've carried openly just about everywhere allowed under law, and the only hassle was the mall, which sucks anyway.
